A DAY IN THE LIFE!
As an account manager with us, you will take the lead in driving customer success and business growth. Your primary focus will be on developing and expanding customer relationships, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service. You will be the linchpin in managing freight bookings, reviewing pickups and deliveries, and collaborating with our top-tier business development and operations team to drive results.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with customers regularly to meet their expectations, address inquiries, and identify opportunities for expanding business.
- Work closely with drivers to provide timely answers to their questions and assist with load details.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs and market trends to manage and enhance your region’s profitability.
- Cultivate new customer relationships and deepen existing ones to drive business growth.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure consistent communication and a seamless experience for customers and drivers.
- Review customer contract rates to ensure accuracy and alignment with current market conditions.

- Demonstrated ability to drive profitability and identify growth opportunities.
- Strong communication skills to interact and build strong relationships with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
- Proven track record in managing and nurturing customer relationships.
- Ability to tackle complex challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- The ability to manage your time in a fast-paced environment with regularly shifting deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in business or logistics.
- 5+ years of directly related experience in account management, sales, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience managing staff.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with drivers, customers, operations, and administrative staff.
- Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and understandable manner with the ability to listen attentively to others.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business or logistics.
- 7+ years of directly related experience in account management, sales, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the transportation or logistics industries.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE
- Salary: Up to $100,000 per year, decided based on experience.
- Schedule: Full-time on-site; Monday - Friday; Quarterly on-call rotation.
