As an equipment sales representative, your day will be a blend of strategy and hands-on engagement. You’ll travel to customer locations, conduct meetings, and deliver compelling sales presentations. You will actively analyze the market to develop strategic sales strategies. You will work closely with internal teams to coordinate equipment preparation for sale. YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive profitability by selling equipment in the open market and offering rental and leasing options ensuring a strong market presence.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify customer needs, trends, and opportunities, developing targeted sales strategies for success.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and current customers through on-site visits and excellent communication.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that are relevant to customer needs, resolve customer problems, and move equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that equipment is prepared and serviced to meet customer expectations.
  • Manage requests for quotes and create sales reports and proposals to facilitate the customer’s decision-making process.
  • Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales efficiency, margin, and revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain an organized customer contact list to identify new sales opportunities and ensure that follow-ups are efficient.
  • Oversee equipment advertising, ensure accurate and attractive representation of inventory to maximize the sales potential.

YOUR SKILLSET

  • Proven track record in equipment sales with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and persuasive presentations and proposals.
  • Strong analytical intelligence with the ability to analyze the market and interpret related data.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma and at least three (3) years of experience in a sales and transportation position or direct experience managing/leading a terminal location (an equivalent amount of education and experience may be substituted.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business with a sales emphasis, or a related field.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE

  • Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, decided based on experience.
  • Schedule: Full-time flex-time remote and in-office; Monday – Friday; Some travel required.
